Ever sat there and wondered how Period Knickers work? and how good are they? Really......?
I am here to answer your questions:
So, the average monthly menstrual cycle can be anything from 5-80mls. 80 mls is considered a heavy period.
Tampons absorb the following amount: Light = 3mls, Regular = 5-6mls, Super = 10-12mls
Pads absorb the following: Regular pad = 5 mls and an overnight pad = 10-15 mls.
Moon cups collect approx. 28-30mls
Our Period Knickers start at 25mls and go to 55mls (depending on the style).... yes, you read that correctly 55mls... that's equivalent to 5 super tampons or 10 regular tampons.
Not only are our knickers amazing quality, comfortable to wear but we are keeping our prices low so everyone can afford them.
Think about the money you waste every month using throw away tampons and pads, not to mention the dangers of using tampons and their toxicity. Period Knickers are reuseable, just wear them, wash them and wear them again....and again...and again...
We have a unique 4-layer system, the first layer is a wicking system which absorbs and locks fluid away, the second layer is the absorbent layer, which holds 25-55mls (depending on the style), the third layer is the waterproof layer preventing leaks and the fourth layer is the soft material of which are knickers are made of.
